Booking settings allow you to manage how guests book your properties through two booking modes: instant booking and booking request (pre-approval).
Instant booking
With Instant Booking, the reservation is automatically confirmed as soon as the guest completes and pays for their reservation, providing a smooth and fast experience. This mode is ideal for maximizing occupancy and conversion rates when your calendar and rates are reliable and guest review is not required.
From the property page, click on Edit
Go to the Platforms tab > Reservations parameters
In the field Booking Setting (default), select Instant Booking
This setting will be applied to all reservations across all reservation platforms.
Booking request
With Booking Request (Pre-approval), the guest submits a request that is only confirmed after manual approval by the property manager. This mode allows you to review guest information before accepting, gives the option to approve or decline the request, and is particularly suitable for properties with specific constraints, high-value or sensitive accommodations, or whenever you want to control bookings before confirmation.
From the property page, click on Edit
Go to the Platforms tab > Reservations parameters
In the field Booking Setting (default), select Booking Request
This setting will be applied to all reservations across all reservation platforms.
Complementary settings
Booking settings per platform
It is possible to set a booking setting different from the default one, according to the reservation platform.
N.B.: Not applicable on Booking.com
From the property page, click on Edit
Go to the Platforms Adjustments tab
For the reservation platform you wish, in In the field Booking Setting, select the booking setting you want.
Minimum Advance Time
Minimum advance time allows you to define how many hours minimum guest should have between reservation date and check-in date.
From the property page, click on Edit
Go to the Platforms tab > Reservations parameters
In the field Minimum advance time (in hours), add the value
Only values between 0 to 24, and 48, 72, 168 are supported.

| from 0 to 23 | Guest can book for an arrival on same day. The value corresponds to the number of hours before midnight (24:00). Example: if you allow the guest to book for the same day up until 8:00 PM, the value to set is 24 − 20 = 4. If the configured value is 0, then the guest can book until 11:59 PM for a same-day arrival. |

Allow booking request past minimum advance time
You can allow guests to do a booking request beyond the minimum advance time set at the property level.
From the property page, click on Edit
Go to the Platforms tab > Reservations parameters
Tick Allow reservation requests beyond minimum advance time
Once ticked, the guest will not be able to instant book but will be able to do a booking request, that you can accept or decline.
Booking interval
By default, a property on RentalReady is bookable for 365 days period.
You can change a property booking interval from its calendar tab.
On the right of calendar, at the end of the pricing parameters column, add a value between 30 and 730 in the field booking interval.
Please note Airbnb and Booking.com only allow up to 540 days.
NB: In case the property is connected to an external pricing tool, please note PriceLabs and BeyondPricing only allow pricing up to 365 days. If you wish to be able to set price above 1 year, contact your account manager at Pricelabs or BeyondPricing.
