Reservations on RentalReady can be shorten upon guest request, but the process changes according to the platform the guest used to book the original reservation.
Direct booking or Vrbo
In the case the original reservation is a direct booking (you created the reservation manually, or the guest booked via your direct booking website) or from Vrbo, the process is the following:
- In the reservation details page, click on edit reservation
- Select the new check-out date
- Modify the financial details if necessary
- Click on save changes
The missions associated to the reservation will be moved to the new date, and the relevant guest email templates will be sent accordingly with the date change.

Platforms
If the guest has booked their stay via a platform (Airbnb, booking.com, etc.), you can either:
- Request the modification of the stay via the mailbox
- Request the modification of the booking via the platform's extranet
For Airbnb, go to the reservation and select the option Propose changes to guests option and make the desired changes.
Once the guest has validated the modifications via the platform, the changes will be automatically imported on RentalReady, and the financial details, missions and guest email templates will be updated accordingly.
The refund for the nights not spent at property will be managed directly by the platform.
N.B : in the case of a reservation on GuestReady, you will need to ask the RentalReady support team to change the date.
DO NOT change the dates of a stay booked on a platform from RentalReady. The change will not be taken into account on the platform's extranet, and the initial departure date will be resynchronised at the next synchronisation cycle.
