Only if you subscribed to the RentalReady payment system
Overview
Refunds from RentalReady are only possible 6 months after the guest's payment has been made via a payment link or from the booking payment page.
In general, this applies to direct bookings (you have created the reservation manually, or the guest has booked on your direct booking website directly), Book.GuestReady or Vrbo reservations.
Refunds are not possible to do on payments done by bank transfer, for Airbnb and Booking.com reservations.
N.B. : refunds can no longer be made if the reservation split payouts were processed by the payment system. Refunds should be made no later than the day of the guest's departure.
Refund a guest
On the reservation page, go on Payment tab, then click on Refund
N.B. : if the guest has paid more than 6 months ago, the button to refund will disappear. Please contact RentalReay support to issue the refund.
Fill the form:
- Type the amount you want to refund
- Select the refund reason
- Add description if necessary
Once the form completed click on refund to process the refund.

Display
The amount refunded will be shown on the reservation page, in the Payments tab.
Receipt
Guest will receive the money back between 5 and 10 days after the refund is issued, according to his/her bank treatment delays.
Proof
You can view the refund receipt on the reservation page, in the Payments tab, by clicking on Download guest receipt.
You can then send it to the guest as proof of refund.
Edit financial reservation details
When part of the reservation is refunded to the guest, only the guest payment (the amount paid by the guest) is automatically updated.
N.B: The financial details of the reservation are not updated by the system.
If you have refund the guest because the reservation has been shortened, remember to modify the financial details of the reservation to adjust the values and avoid blocking the split of payment:
- On the reservation page, click on Edit reservation
- Edit financial details
- Click on save changes
