The pre-check-in form is a list of questions asked to the guests to enable you to obtain additional information about the reservation: phone number, arrival time, number of beds required, identity documents, etc.
Setting up the form
From the main menu, go to Configuration > Offices
On the last column Actions, click on ... > Guest space & guest forms
Go to Pre check-in form tab
Here, you can enable or disable the pre-check-in form
You can choose to display or not some questions on the pre check-in form, as well as the reply condition for the guest if it's optional or mandatory.
You can also choose whether or not to display several types of information:
- Legal agreements: will display a link to your direct booking website privacy policy
- ID upon check-in: will display a message about the ID to be shown to the check-in agent (if physical check-in)
- Deposit upon check-in: will display a message about the deposit to be taken from the check-in agent (if physical check-in)

The pre check-in form appears as a link generated by RentalReady.
This link is automatically sent to the guest by the system, only if the variable corresponding to the pre check-in form link is added to one of the guest notifications.
The corresponding variable is {{ pre_check_in_form_short_link }}
N.B.: in general, the pre check-in form variable is added to the guest notification associated with the CONFIRMED trigger.
Send manually
It is also possible to manually send the link of the pre check-in form to the guest.
You can find it on the reservation page, in the Guest and communication section.
Click on the link to the pre check-in form to be filled by guest
Manage form
Once the pre check-in form has been completed and submitted by the guest, it can no longer be modified.
The information filled in on the form by the guest will be automatically updated on the reservation page and on the dashboards.
