If you want to move or relocate a guest from a property to another, you can use the transfer a reservation feature in RentalReady.
The entire original reservation is moved or transfered. It is not possible to use this feature to move or relocate a guest for only a part of their stay.
Transfer criterias
Before transfering a reservation make sure the reservation is not:
- In the past
- Already cancelled
- An owner reservation
- On the main multi unit going to a sub unit
Move a reservation
Move a reservation can only be done between properties shared by the same owner.
From the reservation page click on Actions > Transfer reservation
- Select the new property where you want to move reservation
- Select Move type
- Platform is already filled
- Financial details will be automatically updated according to the new property, you can change them
Once completed the form, click on Create to move the reservation.
Relocate a reservation
Relocate a reservation can be done between any property, regardless of the owner.
Before relocating the reservation, make sure the new property's calendar is available on the dates of the original reservation.
From the reservation page click on Actions > Transfer reservation
- Select the new property where you want to relocate reservation
- Select Relocate type
- Platform is already filled
- Financial details will be automatically be updated according to the new property, you can change them
Once completed the form, click on Create to relocate the reservation.
Multi-unit transfer
You can transfer a reservation from the reservation page as described above or directly from multi-unit calendar or inline calendar.
From the main menu, go to Portofolio > Multi-Unit
Click on the multi unit See details > Calendar
Or
From the main menu, go to Inline Calendar
On these pages, you'll be able able to drag and drop the reservation directly onto another property of the same multi-unit
N.B.: You can't drag and drop Airbnb reservations, cancelled or in the past reservations.
Incidence on guests notifications
Guests notifications will be sent from the new reservation according to the rules and information of the new property.
Incidence on missions
The missions will be automatically moved to the new property and assigned to the agents associated with it
Incidence on payment
Only if you subscribed to RentalReady payment system, the guest payment is moved to the new reservation. The owner associated with the new property will receive the payout.
