Only if you have a direct booking website by RentalReady, or guest space only with Stripe platform connected
You can create a reservation quote to be sent to guest instead of creating a reservation directly.
Create a quote
From the main menu, go to Portfolio > Available properties
Search for Available properties
Select the ones you want
Click on Create quote
Fill the form:
- dates are pre-selected
- add number of adults, children, infant, pets
- select reservation platform
- currency is pre-selected
- add expiration date and time
- select if guest must pay to book or if they can pay later (if pay later, the reservation will be created without payment)
- select if only staff can confirm reservation without paying (guests can still see the quote details but they can not see a “Book now” button, instead they will communicate directly with staff to confirm the reservation)
- select if guest can book only one or multiple properties
- add guest information
- edit prices for each property (apply default values or add them manually if necessary)
Click on create quote
Once quote is created, properties calendars will be blocked on associated dates until the quote expires.
Send a quote
Reservation quotes are not sent automatically to guest, you must copy the link to send it.
From the link, guests can see the details of the quote and make payment via the direct booking website.
N.B.: if guest can book multiple properties from a quote, he will have to come back on the link after validating the first property
Once the guest confirms their selection, dates will be unblocked on all other properties.
Manage quotes
From the main menu, go to Reservations > Reservations
Go to Quotes tab
You will see all quotes you created, their status and reservations created.
For each quote, on the last column, click on ... to:
- edit it
- invalid it
- confirm reservation (if you choose only staff can confirm reservation)
