Payment resolutions are extra amounts transferred or charged by OTAs during reservation payouts.
In the main menu, click on Finance > Resolutions
Each line corresponds to payment resolution imported from OTAs.
A payment resolution value can be:
- positive if OTAs sent more money than expected (refund type)
- negative if OTAs sent less money than expected (charge type)
Results can be refined by applying the filters on top of the page.
Close a payment resolution
In order to let the payment system process payment splits, every payment resolution must be closed.
If the status is Opened, in the Action column, click on Transfer to or Charge to then select:
- Owner: payment resolution full amount will be charged/transfered to owner
- Property manager: payment resolution full amount will be charged/transfered to property manager
- Both: payment resolution amount will be charged/transfered to both owner and property manager. You'll be able to choose how to split payment resolution according to percentage or fix amount
Once closed, payment resolution is applied on the next payout.
NB: as long as a resolution is opened on one of his/her properties all following payouts towards the owner are blocked.
Property manager payouts are not blocked.
