Automated message templates are by default linked to one or more offices.
However, it is possible to create an override rule in order to override a template by property, in order to:
- Send a different template than the one associated with the default office for one or more specific properties
- Not send any template for one or more specific properties
Add an override rule
To set up automated message templates for a specific property, you must first have created the templates.
N.B: For each override rule, you can select only one property, one template, and one reservation platform at a time. You will need to add a separate rule for each template, property, and platform as needed.
From the main menu, go to: Configuration > Templates > Automated template
Click on Templates per property
Select the desired property and click on Display
Find the trigger for which you want to associate a different template
Click on Override rule
In the Automated message template field, select the desired template
Click on Save to create the override rule
N.B: Once the rule is added, the selected template will be automatically triggered for reservations made on the selected property and platform.
Edit an override Rule
To edit the templates of override rules for a specific property, you must have created the overrides rule beforehand (see above section).
N.B: For each override rule, you can select only one property, one template, and one reservation platform at a time. You will need to edit a separate rule for each template, property, and platform as needed.
From the main menu, go to: Configuration > Templates > Automated message
Click on Templates per property
Select the desired property and click on Display
Find the trigger for which you want to associate a different template
Click on Edit
In the Template field, select the desired template
Click on Save to update the override rule
N.B: Once the rule is updated, the selected template will be automatically triggered for reservations made on the selected property and platform.
Delete an override rule
To delete override rules for a specific property, you must have created the override rule beforehand.
N.B: For each override rule, you can select only one property, one template, and one reservation platform at a time. You will need to delete a separate rule for each template, property, and platform as needed.
From the main menu, go to: Configuration > Templates > Automated message
Click on Templates per property
Select the desired property and click on Display
Find the trigger for which you want to associate a different template rule
Click on Delete
Disable Templates by Property
If you do not want to send a template for one or more specific properties, you can disable it by creating a override rule.
N.B: For each override rule, you can select only one property, one template, and one reservation platform at a time. You will need to remove the template for each model, property, and platform as needed.
From the main menu, go to: Configuration > Templates > Automated messsage
Click on Templates per property
Select the desired property and click on Display
Find the trigger for which you want to associate a different template
Click on Override rule
In the Template field, select the desired template
In the Template field, click the X to leave the field empty
Click on Save to create the override rule
N.B: Once the rule is added, no template will be automatically triggered for reservations made on the selected property and platform.
