Create a VRBO account

If you wish to connect a VRBO account to RentalReady, please note that:

  • only one VRBO account can be connected to RentalReady (or one per office if necessary, meaning one unique email per account or per office)
  • you will need to onboard at least 6 active properties minimum
  • you must have a debit/credit card that authorizes direct debits (as this is how VRBO recovers its platform fees)
  • if you have not subscribed to the RentalReady payment system, you must have a Stripe account connected to your RentalReady account. You will also require a PCI Compliance Document to provide to VRBO support team, please ask that document to RentalReady support.
  • the VRBO platform only supports these currencies: AUD, BRL, CAD, EUR, GBP, JPY, NZD, SGD, USD.

 


Step 1. Create a VRBO account

If you already have a VRBO partner account, go to step 2.

If you do not have a VRBO partner account, click on the following link to create one : https://www.vrbo.com/en-gb/p/onboard

Answer no to the question "do you have an Abritel-VRBO account?"

Answer no to the question "do you currently use a management software?"

Add your information to create your VRBO partner account.

 


Step 2. Inform RentalReady

Contact RentalReady support to inform them that you would like to connect your VRBO account to your RentalReady account. You will need to provide them with:

  • the e-mail address of your VRBO account
  • the office(s) that will be associated with your VRBO account.

Once RentalReady confirms your advertiser ID, you can proceed to step 3.

 


Step 3. Connect RentalReady and VRBO

Click on the following link: https://www.vrbo.com/en-gb/p/onboard

Answer yes to the question "Do you have an Abritel-VRBO account?" and log in to your VRBO account.

Answer yes to the question "do you currently use a management software?" and add RentalReady

Complete the form

 

💡Tips:

If you are operating in the UK

  • Master brand = VRBO (UK if necessary)
  • Currency = GBP
  • Country = United Kingdom
  • Channel manager = RentalReady
  • Advertiser ID = the one given to you by RentalReady support in step 2

 

If you are operating in Portugal

  • Master brand = VRBO (PT if necessary)
  • Currency = EUR
  • Country = Portugal
  • Channel manager = RentalReady
  • Advertiser ID = the one given to you by RentalReady support in step 2

 

Once you have completed the form, the VRBO team will contact you and validate your account.

 

You have created your VRBO account and connected it to RentalReady!

You can now create a new VRBO listing on this account.
