Several documents are automatically generated by RentalReady. These include invoices, receipts, statements and summaries.
The documents are white-labeled, and include the property manager's logo.
Below are explanations for each document related to :

Reservations
Each reservation has at least two documents: a guest receipt and a commission invoice.
A payment receipt can also be generated if the guest has paid for the reservation via a payment link (see the section on payment links later in this article).
Guest receipt
This document is intended for the guest.
It is proof of the reservation made by the guest.
It details the financial details of the reservation: rental income, cleaning fees, city tax.
The default payment status is "already paid".
The guest receipt is generated as soon as the reservation is created in RentalReady, and can be downloaded from the reservation page, in the Invoice section. It is generated in English and/or French.
N.B.: The guest receipt is only displayed on the reservation page if this option is activated at owner level (Show guest invoice option).

Contact RentalReady support if you wish to :
- display or not display the owner's details on the guest receipt. This option can be configured at property manager level
- modify the VAT rate applied to the guest receipt.
Commission invoice
This document is intended for the owner.
It corresponds to the invoice for service charges billed to the owner by the property manager.
It details the various fees invoiced: commission, cleaning fees, payment fees if applicable.
The commission invoice is generated in RentalReady:
- 1 day after the guest departure (if you did not subscribed to RentalReady payment system)
- between 5 and 10 days after the guest departure (if you subscribed to RentalReady payment system)
It can be downloaded from the reservation page, in the Invoice section.
The commission invoice is generated per reservation, referenced COMMISSION-year-number (the numbers follow one another in accordance with regulations).

Credit note commission
This document is intended for the owner.
It corresponds to a credit note on the commission invoice (service fees invoiced to the owner by the property manager).
It includes all the details mentioned above (in the section on commission invoices) as well as the identifier of the associated commission invoice.
The credit note commission is generated as soon as the financial details of the reservation are modified (only if the commission invoice had already been generated). It can be downloaded from the reservation page, in the Invoice section.
The credit note commission is generated per reservation, referenced CREDIT_NOTE_COMMISSION-year-number (the numbers follow each other in accordance with regulations).
Extra fees
This document is intended for the owner or the property manager (depending on the extra fee setup).
It corresponds to the invoice for extra fees charged to the guest in a reservation.
It serves in particular to justify the money received via extra fee and to manage accounting, as well as their tax declarations.
The extra fee invoice is generated in RentalReady after the guest departure. It can be downloaded from the reservation page, in the Invoice section, or from the Invoices page, in the Extra fee category.
The extra fee invoice is generated per reservation, referenced EXTRA_FEE-year-number

Platform fees
This document is intended for the owner.
It corresponds to the invoice for platform fees billed to the owner by the property manager. Usually, for you direct bookings, but for any other reservation platform which do no keep their platform fee before sending payout.
The platform fee invoice is generated in RentalReady 7 days after the guest departure. It can be downloaded from the reservation page, in the Invoice section.
The platform fee invoice is generated per reservation, referenced PLATFORM_FEE-year-number (the numbers follow one another in accordance with regulations).
Contact RentalReady support if you wish to modify the commission invoice:
- generate platform fee invoices with VAT (setup by default)
- generate platform fee invoices without VAT
Payout adjustments
This document is intended for the owner and/or property manager.
It is a certificate to justify a payout adjustment.
It gives details of the payout adjustment: description, amounts with and without VAT.
The payout adjustment invoice is generated in RentalReady 7 days after payout of the adjustment.
It can be downloaded from the Payout Adjustments dashboard, in the Actions > Options > Download Invoices column.

Transactions
The transaction statement is intended for the owner.
It serves in particular to justify their income and to manage their accounting, as well as their tax declarations.
The transaction statement details the owner’s information, the period, and the selected properties.
It includes a summary page as the first page.
And then, a page that details the transactions for the period (reservations, payment adjustments, and resolutions), organized by property.
At the end of each section, the total amount for the period for that property is indicated.
The transactions statement includes all new and cancelled with fees reservations. It can be downloaded from:
- the owner space, from Accounting > Transactions > Export (PDF)
- the staff space, from Finance > Owner accounting
Contact RentalReady support if you wish to see the pro-rated reservations instead of full reservation. On this prorated mode, owners will see a single "stay date range filter" which prorates reservations by the nights that actually fall inside the selected date range, reservation rows display clamped check-in/check-out plus prorated amounts (nights, revenue, fees).
Payment links
Only if you have subscribed to the RentalReady payment system or if your Stripe account is connected to RentalReady.
Each payment link generates two documents: a payment receipt and an invoice.
Payment receipt
This document is intended for the guest.
The payment receipt is generated by Stripe when the guest has settled a payment link (reservation, security deposit, extra etc.).
It is the guest's proof of payment (or refund) to the property manager.
It details the amount, date and time of payment, the payment method used and the payment link reference.
The payment receipt is generated as soon as the guest has settled the payment link. It can be downloaded from the reservation page, in the Payment section.
Payment link invoice
This document is intended for the guest and/or property manager and/or owner.
It corresponds to the invoice for the service for which the property manager has billed the guest via a payment link.
It details the property manager, the guest and the financial details of the payment link invoiced.
The payment link invoice is generated as soon as the guest has paid the payment link. It can be downloaded from the Invoices page, in the Payment Link Invoice category.

Missions
The mission statement is intended for agents, to enable them to justify the missions they have carried out and to prepare their invoices.
The mission statement gives details of the agent, the date of the mission, the type of mission, the location and the profit.
The mission statement is generated once the mission has been marked as completed and/or verified by a staff user.
The mission statement can be downloaded from the agent space, in the main menu > Mission > Statements.
