In this article, you will understand the flow of prices: from setting up your pricing, to the price displayed on platforms, and finally to the owner’s earnings.
1. What You See in RentalReady
A. The Base Price
This is your price per night.
The pricing tools will apply to this base price to calculate your daily price (Note: if you use Beyond Pricing or Pricelabs, they will override the base price)

B. Pricing Tools
Pricing tools are applied to the base price (A) to adjust the daily price:
- the factors of the pricing algorithm (Note: if you use Beyond Pricing or Pricelabs, they will override the adjustment)
- the mid-term pricing

C. Price Settings
Price rules and promotions are then applied on the daily price calculated by the pricing tools (B).
The final price is not displayed on the RentalReady calendar but is sent to the platforms.
D. Price Markup
The markup is applied on top of the daily price calculated by the pricing tools (B) and the price settings (C).
The final price is not displayed on the RentalReady calendar but is sent to the platforms.

E. Fees
These can be cleaning fees or additional fees added on top of the daily price.

Note: the daily price and fees are two separate lines. Fees are not included “inside” the daily price.

This leads to the final price that RentalReady sends to the booking platforms:

2. What the Guest Sees on Platforms
The traveler sees the final daily price (F) as well as fees and taxes.

- Daily Price: platforms display a total price including fees if applicable
- Taxes: corresponds to the tourist tax
Note: if you apply a promotion, this information will directly impact the price displayed on platforms, where the original price is crossed out and replaced by the promotional price.
3. What the Owner Receives
Platform fees vary depending on the platform, country, and property type.
In this example, a 14% platform fee is assumed.
