Only if you have subscribed to the RentalReady payment system
The Know Your Customer (KYC), is the procedure to verify the identity of their customers or a legal entity in accordance with regulations.
For the proper functioning of the RentalReady payment system, KYC verification is mandatory for each party receiving a payment:
- the owner
- the property manager
- the agent/agency
KYC status
You can view the KYC status of:
- owners from the Main menu > Users > Owner
- agents/agencies from the Main menu > Users > Agents
KYC has two statuses:
| Status | Signification |
| Not verified | KYC is not verified, payouts are blocked |
| Verified | KYC is verified, payouts work properly |
Verify user's KYC
The user's KYC is automatically verified if you have provided the necessary information when creating the owner profile (or the agent/agency profile).
If the KYC is in not verified status, you must verify it manually through the verification link. You can find this link in two ways:
- from the page of a booking which payout is blocked
- from the owner/agent/agency page, find the KYC section
Click on the link and complete the form with the requested information.
Once you have completed the form, click on Confirm/Send to confirm that the information has been sent.
Verify property manager's KYC
The property manager's KYC is automatically verified if you have provided the necessary information to your RentalReady account manager during your integration/onboarding.
N.B: You cannot view the Property Manager KYC status from your RentalReady account. If the KYC is not verified, you will have access to the verification form link on the page of a booking which payout is blocked.
