Create a property

Before creating a new property, make sure the owner is already created.

 

Create a property

You have 3 ways to create a property:

  • create it from scratch
  • generate a property onboarding form
  • duplicate an existing property

 

From scratch

In the main menu, click on Portfolio > Properties > Create new > Create a property

Select the office, the country and the city you want to assign to the property, then click on submit.

 

From the property onboarding form

Duplicate an existing property

From an existing property page, go to Options > Duplicate property.

The system will automatically create a new property already filled with all details you filled in the original property.

New property internal name will be "ID - property internal name - COPY"

 

Edit the property details

You have two ways to add details in the property:

  • quick process: you will only have to add mandatory and basic details needed for a property to be activated and listed on reservations platforms
  • complete process: you will see all details that can be filled in the property

 

Fields colour code

Colour Field 
Grey The field is optional
Red The field is mandatory
Green The mandatory field has been filled correctly

N.B.: if you don't click on save at the end of the section, you will potentially lose all the filled in information when moving to the following tab. Before that, RentalReady will show you a reminder of the unsaved sections.

 

Quick process

With the quick process, you will only have to fill essential details needed to activate a property.

On the property page, you will see the banner to finish setting up your property

Click on each step to complete the property

Make sure to fill in all the mandatory fields and click on save at the end of each section.

Complete process

With the complete process, you can see all details that can be filled in the property. 

On the property page, click on Edit
