If you no longer manage a property, you can deactivate it on RentalReady.
N.B.: for data storage reasons, please note that it is not possible to delete a property from RentalReady.
Step 1
Proceed to offboard each listing connected to the property (as explained in the unlist a listing article).
N.B.: in the case of a total deactivation of the property, you do not need to unpublish a listing on GuestReady or your direct booking website. Once the property has been deactivated, the listings will be automatically unpublished.
Step 2
From the property page, click on Option > Edit Status
Deselect activate property
Fill the form, if necessary:
- Select the reason for the request (e.g. property sold)
- Add information in the comment box
- Upload a document proving the deactivation request (e.g. a screenshot of the contract termination email sent by the owner)
Once you have completed the form, click on Save to confirm the deactivation
If there are reservations in the future, you will not be able to click on save to deactivate the property, you must cancel them first (explained in Step 3).
Step 3
If you have no future reservations on this property, you can proceed to step 4.
From the Step 2, you can click on Show reservations
Select all
Click on cancel reservations to save your changes.
N.B.: the cancellation will be taken into account on all platforms except Airbnb and Booking.com. We recommend that you process these reservations directly on the platforms' extranet as soon as possible to avoid any penalties.
Step 4
From the property page, click on Option > Edit Status
Deselect activate property
Click on Save to confirm the deactivation
You have deactivated your property!
The property calendar will be automatically closed indefinitely by the system, its status has changed to inactive.
