In case a reservation is extended, the deposit you secured via Stripe may won't cover the guest's additional dates of stay.
Verifications
To make sure to be able to collect money in case of damages, you will need to check relevant reservation's deposit release date.
From the main menu, go to Finance > Payments > Payments links
The release date is displayed in the column capture before.
Actions
If you extand the reservation from RentalReady tool, system will automatically extend security deposit.
If date of deposit release is after new guest departure date, you don't need to do anything. The deposit is covered until the date of release.
If date of deposit release is before new guest departure, you can either:
- create a new payment link from the reservation page then manually send it to the guest
- cancel the current deposit, and manually request a new one again then manually send it to the guest
