Once the security deposit is set up in RentalReady, all future reservations made after the setup will automatically trigger a deposit request.
For existing future reservations (booked before the setup), the request may not be sent automatically. In that case, you’ll need to send the request manually.
From the reservation details page
In the guest information card, click on request security deposit of €xxx.xx
N.B.: In order to edit the default deposit amount, go to the property details page, then Edit property > Platform > Reservation deposit
From the Weekly view
The deposit request button is shown in the check-in mission card when selecting the relevant mission.
Once clicked, a pop-up window will show up asking for the reason of request. Fill in the form and validate it to create the deposit request.
From Payment links page
From the main menu, go to Finance > Payments > Payment links
Click on the button to create new payment link
Complete the form and submit it to create the payment link.
N.B: the payment link is not sent automatically to guest, you will have to copy link and send it manually to guest
