Overview
Once your staff users have been created, you can create one or more staff user groups.
Creating a group allows you to compartmentalize your activity by restricting the visibility of certain offices to specific staff users. It also enables you to assign them to resolve tickets via HomeReady, for example.
Create a group
To create a staff user group, go to Users > Staff User Group
Click on Add a Staff User Group
Fill out the form:
- Add a name for the group
- Select the offices the user group will be displayed in
- Enter the usernames of the staff users
Once the form is filled out, click submit to create the staff user group.
Edit a group
To edit a staff user group, go to Users > Staff User Group
On this page, you will find the list of the different groups you have created
To edit a group, go to the Actions column > ... > Edit
You can then update the group name, offices, or members.
Click submit to confirm the changes.
Assign a group
When opening or tracking a ticket in HomeReady, you can assign a staff user group to follow the ticket.
To add a group to a HomeReady ticket, go to HomeReady > All Tickets
In the Assigned Group field, select the staff user group
Click Save
The ticket will then be visible to the assigned staff users in HomeReady > My Assigned Tickets
N.B.: You have the option to make assigning a staff user group mandatory when creating a HomeReady ticket. Please contact RentalReady support if you wish to enable or disable this setting.
