Once your Salto Space account is created you can connect it to RentalReady and set up your properties.
Connect the account
1. Add account
From the main menu, go to Reservations > Key Management
Go to Salto space accounts tab
Click on Options > Add a new account
Fill in the form:
Add a name to the Salto Space account you are creating
Select a property manager
Add the SHIP endpoint URL
Add API key
Add Cloudflare client ID/client secret (only for an installation published through Cloudflare)
Tick to Verify TLS certificate
Select the installation time zone that will be taken into account for the code/access window validity. N.B.: If the server runs a version older than 1.47a, the account shows a No passcodes badge next to its status and the passcode option is refused. That installation can only issue mobile keys.

Select the guest credential strategy, it will decides which platform issues the access codes:
JustIN Mobile jkey - the default. A key delivered to the guest’s phone through Salto’s JustIN Mobile app. This is the only credential that works on offline locks, which is what a rental unit’s own door lock usually is
User passcode - a 6-digit code the guest types on the keypad. It needs a keypad lock and a Salto server running specification 1.47a or later
Select the entity families to synchronise
Click on Save to create the account
2. Sync Devices
On the Salto Space account line, in the Actions column, click on ... > Sync Devices
N.B.: they are also synchronised once every night
Set up properties
Salto Space allows you to link multiple rooms to the same property. In order to do so, you have to set the key strategy of the property to Managed smart lock. A new field will then appear in the property edit form, where users can select the devices. Please note that all devices linked to a property must belong to accounts of the rental’s property manager.
Access time window can be set at Office level
From the property page, click Edit Property
In the Guest instructions > Key management tab:
Select Managed Smart Lock lock in the key strategy field
Select the locks matching the property
Click Save to apply your changes
You can also go to the Salto Space doors page and use Actions > Edit properties to select the properties for that door.
