Once the integration with WhatsApp is activated, you can connect your WhatsApp account to RentalReady. Make sure to follow the steps below.
Step 1. Connect a Facebook Account
WhatsApp is part of the Meta group, with which RentalReady is connected. To do this, you need to log in to your Facebook account.
Make sure to start from URL pms.rentalready.io. Your personalised link will not work.
From the main menu, go to Configuration > WhatsApp > WhatsApp accounts
Click on the login with Facebook button
Fill in the information:
- Select a business portfolio linked to your Facebook account, or create a new one
- Select an existing WhatsApp Business account with an existing WhatsApp Business profile, or create a new one
- Create or update a business profile with company information that will be displayed to users on WhatsApp
- Add a phone number that is already available for use (without having an existing WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business account) and that can receive an SMS or call with an OTP code used to verify ownership of the number
- Send the verification code

Step 2. Add a WhatsApp account
Once the process is complete, you will be redirected to the WhatsApp accounts dashboard
Fill in the form:
- Add a name to the WhatsApp account
- The account ID is already pre-filled
- The account token is already pre-filled
- Select the property manager to be linked to this WhatsApp account
Click on save to create the WhatsApp account
Step 3. Add a phone number
Import the phone number
From the main menu, go to Configuration > WhatsApp > WhatsApp phone numbers
Click on Options > Synchronise phone numbers
The phone number will be automatically imported into RentalReady. You will see it appear on the phone numbers dashboard.
N.B.: If you have multiple phone numbers associated with the same WhatsApp account, they will all be imported into RentalReady. You will need to complete the Register the phone number step below for each of them.
Register the phone number
1. From RentalReady
In the Actions column, click on ... > Register phone number
Add the same 6-digit PIN that you entered in the phone number settings on the Meta dashboard
This 6-digit code will be your two-factor verification for the phone number
Click on save to register the phone number in RentalReady
2. From Meta
Go to the page https://business.facebook.com/wa/manage/phone-numbers/.
In the row corresponding to the phone number, click on Settings > Two-Factor Authentication
Add/Confirm the 6-digit code.
Do the verifications
If the business portfolio is new, you will need to verify your business with Meta in order to access the WhatsApp Business API and other products (required for integration with RentalReady).
Go to https://business.facebook.com/home/accounts and navigate to your Meta account settings.
Click on Security Center
Complete the form in the verification section.
