Manage smart devices access

Once you've connected your smart devices to RentalReady, you can manage them from the smart device dashboard.

 

Code creation

Codes will be automatically generated by RentalReady.

 

Code validity

The validity period of access/codes can be adjusted at the office level:

  • default start time for smart lock access validity

  • default end time for smart lock access validity

  • code validity before cleaning (in minutes)

  • code validity after cleaning (in minutes)

  • code validity before arrival time (in minutes)

  • code validity after departure time (in minutes)

Contact RentalReady support to inform them of your choice.

 

Reservation changes

If a reservation is shortened, extended, or cancelled, the code's validity is updated or revoked accordingly.

 

Guest access

If you want the code to be sent automatically to the guest, you must add the corresponding variables in the automated message template dedicated to send check-in instructions.

Agent access

Agents will also be able to retrieve codes from the mission details page, on the section Key collection.

If a mission is cancelled, the code becomes unavailable.
