Once integration with KeyNest has been activated, you can connect your accounts and set your properties.
N.B.: Your personalized RentalReady sub-domain does not allow the connection between RentalReady and KeyNest. Before starting the connection, please make sure you are logged on to RentalReady with the following domain: https://pms.rentalready.io/
Connect an account
1. Add account
From the main menu, go to Reservations > Key management
Go to KeyNest account tab
Click on Options > Add a new account
Fill in the form:
- Add a name to the KeyNest account you are creating
- Select a property manager, one or more offices. This choice depends on the connection you wish to have between RentalReady and the KeyNest account you are creating:
- with your general RentalReady account: select only the property manager
- with one or more offices: select one or more offices
Click on save to create the account.
2. Authorise account
The KeyNest account added to RentalReady will automatically be inactive.
To set it to active status, you must authorise the connection between RentalReady and KeyNest.
From the main menu, go to Reservations > Key management
Go to KeyNest account tab
On the KeyNest account line, in the Actions column, click on ... > Authorise
You will be redirected to an KeyNest login page.
Log in to your KeyNest account and fill in the required information.
Once the account is authorised, you will be redirected to RentalReady and the KeyNest account will be in active status.
Properties setup
Once your KeyNest account integration is activated, you can set up your RentalReady properties.
From the property page, click Edit Property
In the Guest instructions > Key management tab:
- Select KeyNest in the key strategy field
- Save the section to apply your changes
