Once integration with RemoteLock has been activated, you can connect your accounts and set your properties.
N.B.: Your personalized RentalReady sub-domain does not allow the connection between RentalReady and RemoteLock. Before starting the connection, please make sure you are logged on to RentalReady with the following domain: https://pms.rentalready.io/
Connect an account
1. Add account
From the main menu, go to Reservations > Key management
Go to RemoteLock accounts tab
Click on Options > Add a new account
Fill in the form:
- Add a name to the RemoteLock account you are creating
- Select a property manager
Click on save to create the account.
2. Authorise account
The RemoteLock account added to RentalReady will automatically be inactive.
To set it to active status, you must authorise the connection between RentalReady and RemoteLock.
From the main menu, go to Reservations > Key management
Go to RemoteLock accounts tab
On the RemoteLock account line, in the Actions column, click on ... > Authorise
You will be redirected to an RemoteLock login page.
Log in to your RemoteLock account and fill in the required information.
Once the account is authorised, you will be redirected to RentalReady and the RemoteLock account will be in active status.
Properties setup
From the property page, click Edit Property
In the Guest instructions tab > Key management tab:
- Select RemoteLock in the key strategy field
- Save the section to apply your changes.
