Create a voucher

Overview

Vouchers can be created via RentalReady and used by guests when booking on your reservation platform from the booking widget applied on your website or the direct booking website.

When a voucher is used, the amount of the voucher will be taken from the rental income. Platform fees and payment fees will be adjusted accordingly.

 

Create a voucher

From the main menu, go to Reservations > Vouchers > Generate new voucher

 

General

  • Choose the type of voucher if you want it to be expressed as a percentage or a fixed amount
  • Add voucher value
  • Add a maximum value for the applied discount. The value is expressed in euros. It will override the discount applied if it is below the value added in this field.
  • Select the reservation platform (your own platform)
  • Select the property(ies) on which the voucher can be used. Ignore this field if you want the voucher to apply to all properties of one or more offices
  • Select the office(s) on which the voucher can be used - only if you want the voucher to apply to all properties of one or more offices


Voucher code

  • The voucher code is automatically generated. Edit the code if necessary. It must be between 6 and 30 characters long, and contain only capital letters and numbers (e.g. ETE2024; XKSKSLQM, 20240830 etc)
  • Give a name to the campaign linked to the voucher
  • Add a description

 

Configuration

  • Define voucher validity period by selecting start and end dates
  • Add a redemption limit the discount code can be used
  • Activate the option if you wish to
    • exclude cleaning fees and taxes; the voucher will then be applied before cleaning fees and city taxes
    • authorize partial use of the voucher; it may then be used by a single guest only
  • Enable the voucher
  • Check the option if you want the voucher to apply to bookings of more than 30 days
  • Tick the rule if you wish the voucher to be valid only on bookings
    • whose total amount is greater than the value added in the field
    • whose stay is during within the selected period

Once you have completed the form, click on save to create the voucher.
