Once the guest space has been activated, you can configure and customize it.
The guest space will be automatically displayed in the same way as your RentalReady direct booking website (colors, typeface, etc.).
Mailbox
The mailbox on the guest space can be activated or deactivated.
If enabled, the guest will be able to contact you from the guest space.
The guest's message will appear in your mailbox, following the corresponding reservation conversation.
If you wish your reply to the guest to appear in the guest space, you must choose the “Guest space” sending method.
Forms
The pre-check-in form and the guest registration form can be activated in the guest space.
If the option is activated, the form will be displayed in the guest space in the form of an “Add guest details” button, followed by a page with the required fields.
N.B.: Activation is set by office. You can therefore have different form display and parameter settings for each office.
An alert is displayed in the guest space until the form has been validated.
Check-in Insctructions
You can add step-by-step check-in insctructions
It will allow the guest to see How to check-in section in the Booking tab
On the day of check-in, guests will be able to confirm their arrival, or report an issue with their check-in:
- If guests report an issue, an internal is posted on the mailbox conversation
- When guests confirm their arrival, an internal is posted on the mailbox conversation
City guides
You can add a city guide.
If the option is activated, the guide will be displayed in the guest space as a “Our curated city guide” button.
The guide must be in PDF format. One document per language. If you only add an English guide, it will be displayed in the guest space by default.
N.B.: Contact RentalReady support to provide them you city guide. City guide is set per office. You can therefore have a different guide for each office.
Property guide
You can add a property guide.
You must add a file (picture or pdf) in the property, on General tab, Practical information section, in the Property Guide
Once file is added on property, it will be displayed on Guest Space, Property tab, on a banner "explore the property guide".
You can choose to show property guide in guest space before the check-in date.
You can do it at office level.
Amenities
You can add photos, videos and PDFs for each of your amenities.
Media will be added as a clickable link in the House Manual tab of the guest space.
To add media, go to Property > Edit > Amenities > click on the amenity > Update > add your media > check the “Display in guest space” box > Save.
You can choose to display amenities list and instructions in guest space before the check-in date. You can do it at office level.
Receipts
You can choose to display receipts in guest space:
- reservation payment receipt
- invoice
If the option is activated, the guest will see an option to see receipt on the Booking tab.
You can do it at office level.
Reservation extension
You can choose to let the guest extend his reservation from the guest space.
To confirm the reservation extension, guests will be required to make payment.
Prices will be automatically calculated according to your settings.
The guest will then receive an email with the new reservation dates.
If the option is activated, the guest will see a “Extend your stay” button in the guest space, only if the dates are available.
N.B.: default maximum extension is 3 days, Contact RentalReady support if you wish to activate it and edit the number of maximum extension days (can be customized by office).
Reservation cancellation
You can choose to let the guest cancel his reservation from the guest space.
N.B.: only for reservations from your direct booking website.
If the option is activated, the guest will see a “Cancel booking” button in the guest space.
He will then need to complete a form to justify his cancellation.
Refunds to the guest will be automatic depending on your cancellation policy.
