Once your Xero account is connected to your RentalReady account, you have to configure account codes and tax rates.
Account codes setup
Account codes are used to show the Xero codes on the invoices.
From your Xero account, go to the Chart Of Accounts (link)
Get the list of account numbers codes according to the categories below:
- commission fee per booking
- payment fee
- platform fee
- city tax
- cleaning fee
- service fee
- purchase
- resolution
- accommodation
- discount
Contact RentalReady support to provide them the list of categories and according account number codes so they can configure them internally.
Tax rates setup
Tax rates are used to show taxes rates on the invoices.
From your Xero account, go to the TaxRates (link)
Get the list of tax rates codes
Contact RentalReady support to provide them the list of tax rates codes so they can configure them internally.
Once these two setup are done, you should start receiving reservations and invoices into your Xero account.
